Many of you know one of our biggest concerns with moving has been Henry. Taking Henry who has only known the midwestern lifestyle including a fenced in yard and moving him to an apartment and eventually a boat has prompted many worries for us.
At first Henry wasn’t quite sure about this new land that smelled funny and even worse some of it was wet! Taking daily walks and letting him discover and explore at his owns pace has been the key.
Now he will go in the water occasionally and along with lizards, chasing the tiny ghost crabs has become his favorite hobby.
Investigating the wash after a full moon high tide in September 2024, Henry was very excited to watch the sand erode back into the rushing water as it returned to the sea
